Who we are

Mica Studios represents the culmination of our journey through some of Los Angeles' most storied locations. As our third venue, it continues the legacy established by our first two spaces: The Clara Los Angeles and Naked Eye Studio.

The Clara Los Angeles, a historic bank built in 1923, served as a stunning backdrop for a wide range of productions, from television and film to weddings and corporate events. Its grand architecture and rich history set the stage for unforgettable moments and creative endeavors.

Naked Eye Studio, originally a 1937 auto parts store transformed into a vibrant theater, also played host to an array of events. This unique space fostered creativity and connection through art exhibitions, film shoots, and private celebrations, making it a cherished destination for artists and clients alike.

With Mica Studios, we continue to honor the heritage of our previous locations while embracing new opportunities with an expanded campus. Our studios have been the birthplace of award-winning content, including a feature film showcased at the Tribeca Film Festival and the Emmy-winning Netflix series Beef. We’ve also hosted multiple documentaries for HBO and YouTube, and captured over 25 magazine covers for esteemed publications like Vogue, Elle, Time Magazine, Variety, The New York Times, and GQ. Mica Studios blends history with modern creativity, solidifying our identity as a versatile production location and event venue.
